The SnapShot exhibition was designed to show architectural design in process, and help the public engage with the different disciplines and prototypes needed to bring an architecture project to life. Lily Jencks Studio were working on a prototype to design the structure for Ruin’s Studio, and were approached by the Museum of Architecture to use this prototype as a public display.
We created a sequence of panels that demonstrated the different dialogues, drawing and modelling types, that make up the design process. The opening was a success attended by over 100 people.

We collaborated with the artist Rebecca Bogue who created an interactive dance performance piece, where the public were invited to cut her multiple layers of clothes and tie the cut strips to the armature of the prototype, highlighting the collaborative nature of our process and the layering of time apparent in Ruin’s Studio.
